Hi, my name is Allen Highnote. LakeBlackshearInformation.com is a central place where people can come and find out anything they want to know about Lake Blackshear.

Two of my many loves are software development and Lake Blackshear. It only seemed natural for me to create this site. My family has owned property on Lake Blackshear for over 30 years. The background photo used on this site was taken by me from the front yard of our family cabin. And yes, those are the real, untouched colors! No filters, and no Photoshop other than to crop it down to fit 1024 x 768 screen resolution! (That is the best resolution to view this site at!)

On an extended stay at the cabin in summer of 2006, I decided to create this site in hopes that others could find the resources that they might be interested in. I’ve tried to have as many links as possible but I’m sure I’ve forgotten a few. You may be wondering why I publish my email address as I did above. I used to get over 500 spam emails EVERY day. That’s what you get when you have 77 web sites. Those sneaky little internet spiders, crawlers, and bots are always harvesting millions of email addresses from websites. Since I’ve started publishing my email address that way, most of the spiders and bots skip over my address now.
